About the Founder

Meet Stef

Stef has been planning weddings & events for the past decade, beginning her journey in the fast-paced world of food and beverage to learn the inner workings of large-scale events. From coordinating packed service periods to understanding timing, flow and guest experience, she gained a sharp eye for the details that truly matter.

Her passion for creating meaningful moments soon took her behind the scenes of weddings, where she worked as an assistant with some incredible vendors in Melbourne. It was here that her love for storytelling through beautifully curated celebrations really took shape. In 2016, Stef took a leap of faith and founded Diamanté Weddings & Events, building a business grounded in connection, calm organisation, and refined, personal design.

Now based in the Mackay and servicing Whitsundays and beyond, Stef brings a thoughtful, hands-on and heartfelt approach to every celebration. With a background in logistics, styling and coordination, she blends creativity with structure – ensuring each couple feels supported, heard and completely stress-free on their big day.
